Now, Stephen and I don't know the exact date of when we met because we saw each other quite a few times through out our sophomore year of college. However, the date that we remember where we felt a connection to each other was our first weekend of junior year on September 6th, 2014. Stephen was having a get-together, at his college house, and my friends and I decided to go. We remember standing in his kitchen and being one of the few people in there. We started to talk and catch up about our summers and realized we really liked each other's company. The rest of the day we were by each other's side and knew there was something special. Fast forward 9 years and now we are getting married! Thanks Rowan University!

Stephen and I took a trip to Hawaii for our 7 year anniversary. On our 5th day there (yes, he held the ring for 5 days!) we were exploring Kauai and we were overlooking the Na Pali Coast at Waimea Canyon State Park. While he was setting up our tripod, that we take pictures and videos on, I was observing the view. I wasn't paying attention to him, so I didn't even see him take the ring out. Once the tripod was set up, he came down to join me and told me to turn around to take a picture, so I did. Little did I know, he was actually recording a video and about to drop down to one knee! I was so shocked but so excited. And what was so great is that since we were there so early, no one was around. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was really special!
