We highly suggest not renting a car for the weekend. Everything is very walkable or an easy Uber/Lyft ride away. Parking gets expensive in the French Quarter.

Unfortunately, December isn’t crawfish season so it may be challenging to the get the delicacy. However, it is prime oyster season! Get yourself a dozen or two of the finest gulf oysters (try them charbroiled!)

Street performers are all over the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street has a great cluster of music venues.
