If you are traveling from NYC or Boston, driving is probably the fastest option, and it will be helpful to have a car if you want to explore the surrounding area.

Yes! Amtrak provides daily service between New York City and Rutland, VT (by way of Albany, NY). The train follows a pleasant route along the Hudson River, and delivers you to the Rutland Amtrak station just a twenty minute drive from the venue.
