Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ariel Brent and Aaron Kachler
Chicago is full of amazing things to do, especially in the summer. We've listed a few of our favorites as suggestions on how to make the most of the time you spend in our city.

Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours

465 North McClurg Court, Chicago, IL 60611
, (708) 613-5400

One of our favorite things about Chicago is the architecture. We think one of the best ways to view it is from another Chicago triumph -- the river! There are many incredible companies to choose from, but we would suggest the Architecture Foundation first.

Museum Campus

337 East Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601
, (312) 742-7529

There are three museums on Museum Campus that we equally recommend: Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Planetarium. If nothing else, head to the Planetarium for one of the best views of the city.

Urban Kayaks

435 E. Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312) 965-0035

If you are looking for a more active way to explore the river, we recommend Urban Kayaks. Choose either a single or tandem kayak and see the river at your own pace.

Air and Water Show

North Ave Beach, Chicago, IL

Don't be alarmed by the fighter-jets flying over the city during the weekend: Saturday & Sunday will be the Chicago Air and Water Show! While visible from nearly anywhere along Lake Michigan, it is focused at the North Avenue Beach. Visit the website for the schedule.

The Art Institute of Chicago

111 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603
, (312) 443-3600
