It was the Friday after Valentine’s Day and Josh and Emily decided to do a staycation at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Josh asked to get dressed up to go sit at their favorite bar, The Nautilus, in Seaport. They were planning to meet friends early for drinks (hint hint Josh had made this up) when Josh suggested they go take a walk along the harbor and grab a picture with BHH in the background. Emily was skeptical since she was in heels and it had just stopped raining, but Josh was very convincing. They finally made it to the perfect spot for a photo when Josh said, “Why don’t you stand over here and we can take a selfie.” When Emily looked back over Josh was down on one knee holding out a ring box. Emily started crying, because it was the perfect surprise, and through wiping her tears away answered “Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” with the only answer “Yes!”
