What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal or black-tie invited. The image above and site below have examples! Men: tuxedos welcome or a formal, dark colored suit and tie Women: floor-length gown, a fancy, ankle-length cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If we are able to extend you a plus one, it will be noted on the formal invitation!

Will there be a coat check?

Yes! Chicago Winery will have a coat check and attendant on site as you walk in

Are kids welcome?

Our wedding will be an adults-only event.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Likely - we are working through the details of a guest shuttle. Check the travel page for updates.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 mins early as we will start on time. Chicago Winery has a gorgeous bar and lounge area guests can mingle prior to the ceremony!

Is there Parking or Valet?

Answer

Not at the venue. We suggest taking an Uber/Lyft/Cab. There are also garages nearby bookable via the Spot Hero app. Both hotels have valet available for a nightly fee.

Where is the hotel block?

Answer

We have 2 blocks reserved for guests Thursday - Saturday. Information can be found on the travel page. We recommend booking as soon as possible as their are limited rooms, but the city of Chicago has plenty of other options to choose from! If you have any issues with the room blocks, please contact team@blockbirdie.com

Is the venue pet friendly & will Ruby be there?

No, the venue does not allow pets & Ruby will not be in attendance, so please leave your furry friends at home :)
