The Mississippi Palisades is a beautiful state park with amazing trails and views.  We highly recommend exploring the whole park if you have time during the weekend.  If you only have time for one check out Lookout Point, which is the first point located past our ceremony area.  The view is spectacular!

This place has been in Mount Carroll for years, and the Bride has fond memories of coming here as a child and teen.  The owners do actually live in the house and it is really a sight to see!

Raven's Grin Inn

Absolutely worth the short drive over the bridge to Sabula, Iowa!  The pizza is to die for and the place is awesome!  Hippies welcome :)
