Media is home to many great restaurants, among these is Fellini Cafe, the site of Jared and Lindsay's first dinner date, and Dim Sum Mania, one of Lindsay's favorites. We recommend you take a walk around town, see a show at Media's theatre, grab some drinks, or go out for a bite to eat!
Longwood Gardens is one of Lindsay and Jared's favorite spots in the area. It is a world-renowned horticultural display featuring dazzling gardens, woodlands, meadows, majestic fountains, and a 4.5-acre indoor conservatory. If you have a free day in the area and the weather is decent this is worth the trip! This is also where our engagement pictures were taken - see if you can recognize some of the spots!
Want to head into Philly? We recommend you visit the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. Here you can channel your inner Rocky by jogging up the museum steps. Then get lost in the museum's vast art collection. Extend the trip by walking towards Center City via Benjamin Franklin Parkway or get away from the city by walking/biking along the Schuylkill River Trail.
Linvilla is a local favorite - especially during the Fall. Visit their famous "Pumpkinland" where you can choose from all shapes and sizes of gourds. This is a great activity for everyone with a petting zoo, corn maze, hayrides, beer garden, and pick-your-own apples. The apple cider and apple cider donuts are a must! This is the busiest time of year for Linvilla so be prepared for crowds if you go on the weekend
Ridley Creek State Park is the location of our wedding venue, Parque, but that will only expose you to a small portion of the park! Enjoy the fall colors by going for a hike, walk, or bike along the creek. The park is a special place for both of us - Lindsay grew up riding horses here and Jared would go on hikes/bikes with his family.
