Our Story
Our story began in high school, where we first met as friends before realizing there was something more between us. By junior year, that friendship turned into a relationship, and we have been side by side ever since.
After graduation, our paths briefly took us in different directions. McKenna attended the University of Missouri, while Jacob went to Rockhurst University to play baseball. Not long after, Jacob decided to pursue a lifelong dream of serving in the military. He transferred to Mizzou to join the Navy ROTC program, bringing us back together and starting a new chapter.
Throughout college and beyond, we built a life filled with memories, traveling, celebrating with friends and family, and supporting each other through every step. One of our biggest adventures came when Jacob surprised McKenna with a birthday trip to Banff, Canada, where he asked her to marry him.
We are so excited for wherever life and the military take us next. We cannot wait to build our future together!!
