Todd & Sarah

First comes love...

Todd and Sarah met in 2012 when Sarah began working as a server at the Wood n Tap restaurant. When she met Todd, it was love at first sight. The two became friends and would go out on casual dates including trips to the casino where they were named the "Lucky Couple" at a roulette table. It wasn't until Valentines Day in 2013 when Todd went to Sarah's house to meet her new kitten. At the end of the night, Todd kissed Sarah and the rest was history! The pair have been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

January 20, 2018

Todd and Sarah booked a last minute getaway to their favorite spot, Ogunquit, Maine. It was around the time of Sarah's birthday, so Todd had told her he was taking her there to celebrate. The two drove in on a Friday night, got a quick bite to eat at one of their favorite restaurants and went to sleep. The next morning, Todd woke Sarah up to go to breakfast. Sarah never noticed, but Todd finished his breakfast so quickly as he was antsy anticipating the next few hours. When they were done eating, they went to explore the town as they had never been there during the winter. Todd and Sarah drove to Footbridge Beach, which is where they usually would lay out during the summer as it is attached to their favorite vacation spot, The Dunes on the Waterfront. After walking along the beach for a while, Todd noticed the footbridge that connects the beach to the Dunes and suggested walking up and taking in the views. So the two of them walked up the footbridge and when they were on the top Todd told Sarah to take some photos. When Sarah turned around to show Todd one of the pictures she had just taken, he was down on one knee holding the most beautiful ring and asking Sarah to marry him. At first she asked, "What are you doing!?" in shock and when it finally hit her, she immediately started crying and said yes! It was the perfect moment in their favorite spot.
