we are getting married!

Todd and Alyssa met the modern way: by matching on Hinge in 2020! We matched and messaged back and fourth for hours. The following day Todd asked Alyssa on a casual lunch time coffee date. We both grabbed Vanilla lattes at Edie's Coffee in River North and walked around for 30 minutes. The conversation flowed and there was never a moment of silence. Todd walked Alyssa back to her apartment and laid a kiss on her. We made plans for a second date immediately after and our love story began! 6 months later, Todd asked Alyssa to move in on Valentine's day with a card including keys to "our place." A year and a few months later, Todd proposed by the water in Lincoln Park Zoo. Alyssa thought they were grabbing hot chocolate and going on a walk before dinner. As soon as they got near the water, Todd dropped to one knee, tears of happiness were shed and Alyssa said yes! We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in November!
