If I RSVP with my meal choice, can I change it?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We selected a couple of different options for you to choose from and once you send in your request you cannot change it. Please be sure to read the menu carefully before choosing. We know they all sound delicious, but just pick one!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as, “Mr./Miss XYZ and Guest.” If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our closest friends and family. We hope you understand!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm EST. We ask that everyone be in their seats by 3:50pm in order for the ceremony to start on time.

Can I take pictures through the ceremony/reception?

Answer

In order to ensure we are all fully present, we will be having an “unplugged” ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phone during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture our ceremony and we would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During cocktail hour and the reception please feel free to take as many pictures as you like. The only exception during the reception will be during the ceremonial dances. Our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance.

Where do I park?

Answer

The First Baptist Church of Charleston has their own private parking lot that they will allow us to use on our special day. Directions to that parking lot are below. There is also parallel street parking on Water Street should you chose to do that. If walking from another part of downtown: The front of the Sanctuary can be found at 61 Church Street If driving to park at the Church. 1. Please set your maps to 24 Water Street, Charleston, SC 2. Once on Water Street, please pull into the first driveway on left (just past the house on the corner of Meeting and Water Streets) 3. At the gate intercom, please press the intercom button and let the attendant know you are here for the Jennings Wedding! Dunes West Golf and River Club has a large parking lot on-site for all of our guests to utilize.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red and white wines, and champagne to celebrate! We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options, and coffee. Please plan accordingly and have a way to get home safely.
