Aaron and Kathryn's first trip together. A river trip with good friends!

Only five months of being together here. Lots of late nights on Aaron's porch at his house in Galveston, talking into the night, realizing they had a future together.

Third trip together, to their good friend's Ashley and Richard's wedding! Aaron asked Kathryn if she'd ever get married again on this trip on the porch of the cabin they stayed at while stargazing.

Kathryn was one of Ashley's bridesmaids. Ashley gave Aaron a speech that night, saying that Aaron better take care of her friend! He's done a good job, what do y'all think?!

6 months of dating, Aaron met the boys on Halloween for the first time to go trick or treating! Fun fact: Evan kicked Aaron's shoe accidentally and broke his toe the first time he met him!

First Christmas together, 2021! The kids helped decorate! Somehow, a fish tank was broken in the process! Aaron still stuck around!

First posed family photo, in front of the tiny Christmas tree at Kathryn's grandma's house. That's when you know you're in!

Aaron had started slowly moving into Kathryn's house around the 6-month mark. It felt really official in January of 2022 when the initial A and K coffee mugs made it to the coffee bar!

First family vacation, to Branson, Missouri over spring break in 2022. The boys came down with the flu while on vacation, so they had to take it slow.

On this beautiful scenic trip, Aaron accidentally referred to Kathryn as "his wife" and got all bashful.

A very nice stranger snapped this picture of everyone.

This was the view from the condo they stayed at on the side of the Ozark mountains, overlooking Tablerock Lake.

Aaron and Kathryn left a piece of their hearts in Branson and often discuss buying property there to either vacation or retire one day.

Kathryn and Aaron share a musical passion for karaoke and spent a lot of their first couple years together singing karaoke in the garage late into the night, often with their good friend Juan!

Charles, Kathryn's father joined them for karaoke in the garage sometimes too.

By March of 2022, Kathryn's family dogs had accepted Aaron into their pack. BingBong the chihuahua remains the toughest critic to date, still sometimes skeptical.

Weekly movie nights became a regular thing with mandatory couch snuggles. Evan had become really close with Aaron and told him that his life was so much better now that he was in it.

Aaron really was made to be a dad and was the perfect fitting puzzle piece that had been missing from these boy's lives.

He never missed a bedtime, regardless of how tired he was after work.

And he continues to show these boys experiences they've never had all the time.

Raising little boys into young men is not a job to be taken lightly! Aaron was doing a great job!

They trust him and love him so much. It was around mid 2022 Corbin and Evan started to ask Kathryn and Aaron when they were going to get married!

Entertaining together was easy, as Kathryn and Aaron both love giving to others. And they both have interesting friends!

Aaron's parent's Trish and Ace added a new element to Kathryn and the boy's lives by bringing pets for them to pet watch. DJ the rabbit was such a sweet boy!

Evan took so much pride in helping take care of DJ and Zilly the Bearded Dragon when they came to visit!

Aaron and Kathryn took a short river trip in late summer of 2022 with good friends. Everyone around them supported their relationship and saw good things!

Spring break of 2023, Aaron and Kathryn took the kids to Panama City Beach, Florida with their friend Juan and his kids for a busy fun packed trip!

Being able to show the boys the world one adventure at a time continues to be such a blessing.

They were planning their next vacation before the one they were on was even over!

Watching the sunrise and sunset from the high-rise condo they stayed at on the beach was incredible each day!

Scouring the beach in the evening when the tides came up was the best time to find seashells before the got broken up.

Seashell hunting was the favorite pastime on the beach!

In June of 2023, Aaron helped teach Evan how to ride a bike and bought him his first one.

The remodeling projects seem to be never-ending on Kathryn's, now also Aaron's, old house! They both learned how to lay tile together in the summer of 2023. Aaron's face speaks for itself!!

They cleaned up for some friend's wedding!

Kathryn caught the bouquet that was thrown that night. On the drive home, Aaron asked Kathryn what kind of wedding she wanted one day.

Celebrating Aaron's birthday at Jimmy Changa's in League City every year has become a tradition. Fun fact: Aaron and Kathryn's first kiss was in the rain in the parking lot there!

In summer of 2023, Kathryn was accepted with West Texas ATM online for their Emergency Management Administration program. Aaron and the boys have been her inspiration and motivation daily to do this.

Kathryn's speciality in the kitchen is baking, where she passes this on to the boys....

While Aaron is best at pretty much everything else, especially with the grill, where he gets the boys involved from time to time.

One of Aaron and Kathryn's favorite pastimes together is talking and watching the sunset from their home.

In October of 2023, sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather, watching sunsets was pretty common for them. Life was comfortable and they had found happiness.

Roasting marshmallows in their backyard is a must every fall season now!

Finding activities outside is what Kathryn and Aaron found they enjoy the most. In October of 2023, they celebrated the season with Kathryn's mom Cathy carving pumpkins!

Carving pumpkins has always been a tradition for Corbin and Evan, so sharing this with Aaron every year has been super fun for them.

Kathryn planted succulents using planters that were gifts from Aaron's mom, Trish, instead. Aaron and Kathryn received a lot of support and approval from their parents for their relationship.

Kathryn and Aaron make it absolute priority to be at the children's events, in the stands for Evan's baseball games, cheering him on...

... and in the auditorium for Corbin's choir and band concerts, supporting his musical talents.

Early December 2023, Aaron and Kathryn welcomed their first pet together, Toast the rabbit. He is house trained and roams freely in their home with the dogs.

New Years Eve 2023, going into 2024, Kathryn and Aaron decided to make better diet and fitness choices moving forward.

In January of 2024, they had a date night by eating at Pappa's seafood, the restaurant they had their first date at.

They ended their date by working on an arts and crafts project together, a shadow box including pictures, sand, and seashells from their Florida trip. How cool!

Aaron's parents really knew how to get to know the kids each time they came down! They brought supplies for smores on this trip!

Family time around the fire pit!

It was a very cold night!

And after the children went to bed, the adults staying up late and chatting was enjoyable as Kathryn and Aaron's parents got to know each other more with every visit since they lived further away.

Kathryn and Aaron support each other's hobbies. Aaron can be seen here installing shelves above their new rabbit's baby pen while he was being potty trained to store all the rabbit's supplies.

Here was the final outcome of the shelf!

In February of 2024, they were still pushing each other to be healthier. It was really hard, but they were eating healthier and not drinking alcohol anymore. They started going on bike rides!

One of their favorite nearby Texas getaways is Canyon Lake, TX.

There's a cantina nearby that overlooks the local marina where they eat and watch the sunset when they first get into town.

Lots of quality outdoors, and a lot of nearby areas to hike around the lake.

In the summer of 2024, Aaron and Kathryn worked together (90% Aaron, 10% Kathryn) to put in a pool in the backyard!

Mother's Day 2024 was very special. Kathryn felt the most appreciated as a mom that she has ever felt.

Mother's Day this year was spent at Kathryn's grandparent's house with Kathryn's grandparents and mother.

This was one of the last times they got to spend time with Kathryn's grandfather before he was in a hospital bed, and has since passed, so this was a special memory here.

In the summer of 2024, they went back to Canyon Lake, where Aaron and Kathryn taught the boys how to fish. They had never been before!

No one caught anything, but everyone had a great time.

Aaron even tried using bigger bait, but still, no bites!

Right after their fishing trip to Canyon Lake, Hurricane Beryl hit the Houston area and caused a lot of damage to their home. They were without power for almost two weeks!

On October 12th, 2024, Aaron proposed to Kathryn in their backyard, in front of close friends, where obviously, she said yes. The boys were in on it too, one distracting Mom, the other recording.

He did good!!!

They continue to grow as a family and become closer, bonding with Kathryn's mom Cathy and her boyfriend Mike shortly after the proposal for some art fun!

Christmas traditions are forming, memories are being made, and love is abundant.

In January of 2025, Aaron and Kathryn had the opportunity to take the boys to New York to visit Aaron's parents at their second home. They went snow tubing one night!

It snowed almost the entire time they were!

Evan not only experienced his first airplane ride (it was Corbin's 2nd), but they both experienced their first REAL snowball fight.

They also got to visit Niagara Falls.

Then they brought the snow back to Texas for a day! (You're welcome everyone!)

For Valentine's weekend in 2025, they made it out to Canyon Lake again. Keeping the boys quiet in a nice Italian restaurant on Valentine's night at dinner time proved to be difficult!

Hiking around the lake is always a must out there. Treasures are being revealed as the lake is at an all time low lately.

Kathryn and Aaron also took the boys into Gruene, TX to show them some historic sights and shopping areas. It was a great weekend.

This was taken at the venue they are getting married at, Butler's Courtyard, the day Kathryn and Aaron decided they wanted to get married there. All of these photos lead us to now.

Kathryn wanted engagement photos in Missouri, where they left a part of their heart in those mountains, so they made it a family trip, took the kids to a theme park and did a bunch of hiking.

Molly got to go on this trip too.
