Although we are both native Pittsburghers, our paths did not cross until sophomore year at The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH. We first met during our shared constitutional law debate class. We made it 'official' at the beginning of our junior year, in September of 2018. In the almost 8 years that have followed since this moment, we have grown up and built a life that we are proud of together. Our time at Wooster was filled with laughs, cheerful moments, and the foundations of love. We spent time cheering each other on as Tyler played baseball and Emily competed on the golf team. We enjoyed weekly Thursday night dates at the local brewery, coffees at Old Main, and late nights with friends. Our lives intertwined quickly as friends became family, and we started to consider what life might look like outside of Wooster, Ohio. We graduated in May 2020 and soon after, moved to the Washington, DC area. Though it was, and still is, hard to be a few hours away from our families, the experience has encouraged us to make our own traditions and create memories. We have made three different apartments feel like home and explored new-to-us areas. You'll often find us trying new coffee shops, enjoying weekends cooking & baking, and taking walks alongside our basset hound, Hank. As we look forward to entering married life, we are extremely appreciative and grateful for all of the support and love that has been shared with us over the years. We are so excited to share in the celebration with our friends and family.
