Though Hattie and Carson both attended Washington State University at the same time, living just three floors apart in the same freshman dorm and sharing mutual friends, their paths never crossed. They even attended the same Christmas party hosted by their friends, yet somehow managed to miss meeting each other. It wasn't until 2019, after graduation, when they finally connected. Their first date turned into an impromptu double date when Hattie invited her roommate Hannah and her boyfriend at the time along - keeping Carson on his toes from the start! That date quickly led to a second, then a third, and soon they were inseparable. The couple's shared love of sports became a cornerstone of their relationship, with countless Mariners games and football weekends bringing them closer together. Carson introduced Hattie to skiing, and together they've created endless memories with their pets Binx and Murphy and spending time with all their friends. Their six years together have been filled with adventure - from ski trips with friends to travels in Chelan, Hawaii, Whistler and more. Their biggest adventure yet took them to Europe for Carson's first time where they explored San Sebastian, Spain. It was there, on a morning coffee walk during their second day, that Carson proposed to Hattie. Surprised and overjoyed, she said yes! They celebrated their engagement throughout the rest of their trip in Madrid and Barcelona, enjoying spritz, food tours, and romantic rooftop views. This is just the beginning of their love story, and they are grateful for everyone who has been part of their journey these past six years and for all those they'll meet in the many years to come!
