Having God be the author of our love story is the best thing we could have done. God's timing is always perfect! Waiting patiently for him was the best decision we could have done. We met at church when Keileeany “out of the blue" moved to GA in April of 2021. She says out of the blue because being human she could never get her mind around what God had for her when she moved here. During that time Sammy was already a member of our church RDV. He was just an average youth from church not looking for anyone at the moment. Just trying to focus more on God. A few months went by and during that time, Keileeany was focusing on rebuilding her relationship with God and placing him in her life as the number one priority. Then August 15th rolled around and she noticed that I was celebrating my birthday, and by that time she was praying and was asking God to prepare her for the next chapter in her life. She wished him a 'Happy Birthday", and came to find out that my birthday was the 16th, time passed and we continued getting to know each other. Day by day I began to believe that the wait on God was starting to take its turn. I began to have feelings for her, feelings that I didn't know for a long time. As time progressed I was checking off boxes on my list of what I was looking for in a God-fearing man. Little did we know that we were both doing the same thing. In my heart, I wanted a worshipper, a woman of God who would love me for who I am. The end of November came and we were still getting to know each other and that is when it got serious, he asked me if I wanted to pray about a future relationship and ask God for confirmation in this soon-to-be relationship. I of course agreed and soon after on January 29, 2022, was our first date, everything that I ever dreamed of was answered that day. After that day we were inseparable. A little less than a month passed by, February 20, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to one of the best days of my life, July 03, 2022, Sammy with the conformation of God and the blessing of my favorite and most important people in my life, my parents, got down on one knee and ask me the one question I will never forget "Mi Keileeany, will you marry me?" And here we are at the end of the year 2022, with a lot of fun, cute dates, road trips, love, tears, ups, and downs, but more ups than downs, I'm able to say that putting God first in our life, he really blessed us with our forever best friend.
