The Paulding Lights

Be sure to check out one of the unexplained paranormal mysteries of da yoop! Directions: On US Hwy 45, 4.5 miles north of Watersmeet. Cross Sucker Lake Rd/Bass Lake Rd, go about 2 miles, slow down. You'll see a an ATV/2-track gravel road split off on the left with electric lines. Follow for less than a half-mile until you see the dead-end barricade. At night there are usually people there -- otherwise just sit and wait.

Armando's Restaurant and Douglass House Saloon

Affectionately referred to by locals as "The Dog". Good spot for a cheap beer, killer long islands, pickled eggs and popcorn. Beautiful copper country woodwork inside. Jennifer's favorite: Long Island, or a Genesee Cream Ale and a big basket of popcorn David's favorite: Pickled eggs with salt and Tobasco, and the pool table
