Hinwick HouseHinwick House

Hinwick, England NN29 7JE, United Kingdom

Hinwick House, a 314 year old Queen Anne country home set on 38 acres of parkland, will be our temporary home during our stay in England, and will serve as the gorgeous backdrop for our wedding festivities! Accommodations within the house will be provided for the wedding party, immediate family, and select America-hailing family and friends of the Bride and Groom. Please kindly check your Save the Date / Invite to see whether a room has been set aside for you within the house. For those traveling to Hinwick House, please note that there is plenty of parking available for those traveling via car, or there are trains available to the nearby Park Farm stop.

Travel Note

Travel Reminders (for USA folks)Travel Reminders (for USA folks)

Passports!! -- you're passport must be valid, and not expire for 6 months VISA -- You will need to apply for an ETA visa (via app or online -- see link below). You will need your passport, access to your emails, and a photo of your face. The fee is 10GBP (about $12.20), and can be paid via credit card, apple pay...etc. Once you apply, you should receive email confirmation of your visa within 3 days, and the visa lasts for 2 years. EACH PERSON NEEDS TO DO THIS. Travel insurance -- for those with health concerns, travel insurance may be a good idea! This can often be purchased with your flight ticket. Phone data -- Hinwick House has WiFi. But for when you are traveling and sight seeing, please consider and compare your phone carrier's international data plans to determine if you want/need this. My suggestion would be to have AT LEAST one person in your travel party opt for an international data plan, and those without can turn off roaming / turn off their phone. Outlet plugs -- Outlets shape, voltage, and frequency in the UK (Type G, 230V, 50Hz) are different than they are in the US (Types A &B, 120V, 60Hz). You will need plug adaptors that also convert the voltage/ frequency for your plugs. [insert link to option here]
