Question
What can I expect for the Weekend Retreat?
Answer
We are continuing the party into Friday and Saturday! With so many friends and family coming from near and far (and farther), we wanted to see each and every one of you longer than the 5 hours that a typical wedding lasts. The weekend will be balanced with planned events (see the "Schedule" tab) and free time for you to explore the Portland area (check out the "Things to do in Portland" tab). We hope you can join us!

What are the different locations I need to know?
Answer
The wedding will be held on Thursday, August 21st, 2025 at The Cedarbrook, located at 26450 SE Rugg Rd in Damascus, Oregon. The remainder of the weekend will have events out and about around Portland, but the big party (well, second biggest party) will be held Saturday at our AirBnb, located at 17915 SE Vogel Rd in Damascus, Oregon. The venue and our AirBnb are only 8 miles apart - a 15 minute drive.

Are children allowed?
Answer
We love your kiddos however, we have extended invitations only to the adults in the family. We hope you understand and use our celebration as an opportunity to enjoy a romantic and fun-filled weekend away with your significant other. Note that this applies to both the wedding and the weekend retreat.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, there is ample parking for all guests at The Cedarbrook. You can also leave your car overnight if needed.

Is there parking at the weekend retreat AirBnb?
Answer
There is limited parking at the AirBnb itself, but there is an elementary school next door (Beatrice Morrow Cannady Elementary) which will still be on summer break and has plenty of parking.

What is the dress attire for the wedding?
Answer
Dressy Casual. This can include informal but polished options, such as a button-down shirt or an elegant summer dress. Suit is optional. The wedding will be partially outdoors, so please wear shoes that are practical for an outdoor environment.

Is there a hotel room block?
Answer
There is no hotel room block, so we recommend booking earlier rather than later. Lodging recommendations are listed on the Travel tab.

Can I bring a date/plus one?
Answer
As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we have already finalized our guest list and don't have any extra spots for additional plus ones. If a plus one has been extended to you, their name will be listed alongside yours on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
