Are children invited?
Answer
We love your little ones, we really do! However, we respectfully request that no little ones attend our reception unless specifically listed on the invitation. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!
Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We understand how confusing wedding attire can be at times, so we've created Pinterest Boards for inspiration, and you can also view some inspiration photos on our "Attire" page. We are requesting semi-formal attire for our elopement after-party (mid-length/long dresses or jumpsuits for women and optional suit and tie for men). Our reception will feature the colors olive green, black, ivory, and gold. We recommend attire that compliments the time of year (think neutrals, earth tones, jewel tones, etc.) and weather as our event will be both outdoors and indoors. What if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be dearly missed! But we understand how busy life can be. If you are unable to make our reception, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No" so we can plan accordingly. No worries!

Where can I stay in Kentucky?
Answer
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please reference the “Travel” section of this website for two different hotel blocks nearby and airport details. Please note that our event will be occurring in a rural part of Kentucky and that Ubers and similar ride share services may be limited. Please plan accordingly!

Is there parking at your venue?
Answer
There will be designated parking at our venue and guests are responsible for finding their own transportation to the event at Castle & Key. For our non-Kentucky folks, please remember that much of Kentucky is set away from major towns and cities and our venue is in a fairly remote (but beautiful) location that is only accessible by car. It is very important to us that all of our loved ones get home safely. We will be having shuttle vans at the end of the night to take guests back to the blocked hotels but please be mindful that there may be longer wait times for Ubers/Lyfts or taxis when heading to the venue for the event, so plan some extra time for transportation if you are not driving!
