We want nothing more than to celebrate with all of our family and friends, but given the current circumstances around COVID, a large wedding no longer seems like the right choice for us. In an effort to keep our loved ones safe, we've decided to cancel our wedding on July 3rd, 2021 and instead have a private ceremony with our immediate family on April 4th, 2021. We appreciate your love and support and can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you in the future when it is safe again. Our love story began in 2012 as freshmen at the University of Nevada, Reno. Being student-athletes, we frequently crossed paths with one another during study hall. One day, Cole mustered up enough courage to ask Sommer for help with his math homework (even though he didn’t need it). Homework turned into tutoring, tutoring turned into hanging out, hanging out turned into falling in love, and here we are today. Who would’ve thought that math would be so important? In our time together, we’ve traveled through Europe, graduated college (Sommer with 2 degrees!), and grown from teenage kids to adults. 8 years later and it still feels like the "honeymoon" stage. In July of 2020, Cole got down on one knee and Sommer said yes. It's finally time to take the next step and make it official. We are truly ecstatic and so excited to become husband and wife!
