Our story began at York College. As Jenna tells it, she was walking to biology lab and saw this handsome fella walking down the street the opposite way. She immediately turned to her friend and said she needed to know his name and meet him. Eventually Jenna figured out his name was Jesse and he was a wrestler. As Jesse tells it, he saw this cutie in the cafeteria and was asking his friends what her name was. Unbeknownst to Jenna and Jesse, they had both been asking about each other. Eventually, one of Jenna's bestfriends would meet Jesse at a party and drag him down the street to meet her, and the rest is history. We have been inseparable ever since.

The proposal takes place in North Carolina at Surf City beach. Jenna and Jesse were on a trip to visit friends for the weekend. On Friday morning, the whole group woke up bright and early to catch an ocean front sunrise. During a walk on the beach, Jesse decided to get down on one knee with the beautiful sun rising in the background and of course, she said YES!
