Question

What to Expect at Our Catholic Wedding Mass

Answer

We are celebrating our marriage with a traditional Catholic wedding Mass. If you’re not familiar with this style of ceremony, don’t worry you are welcome exactly as you are. The Mass typically lasts about an hour and includes readings, music, prayers, and a short homily. There will be moments when the congregation stands, sits, or kneels, but please feel comfortable participating in whatever way feels right for you. Communion will be offered during the service. If you are not Catholic or prefer not to receive, you’re welcome to simply remain seated or come forward with arms crossed for a blessing. Our goal is for the ceremony to feel meaningful, reverent, and joyful as we begin our marriage surrounded by the people we love most. Thank you for being part of this special moment with us.
