We matched on a dating app, and instantly started talking. Katie sent the first message because she knew she did not want to miss her shot with him. After going back and forth for about an hour, Connor found a way to get her number so he could send some star pictures. Katie was on a week break from school before starting fall semester and Connor had off the day from work, and we actually went out the same day. We met up to go for a drive up Jeremy's Ranch. We had been talking about getting engaged for some while by this point. Connor was very smart and let Katie design her ring which delayed the engagement for a little while. Our cousins, Jamie and Amanda Walker, invited us out to dinner on Friday. Katie felt like it was coming. A few clues were this dinner was adult only whereas we normally include the kids, and Connor said that dinner would be "magical", and if you know Connor you'll understand how that was a little off. We got ready to leave their house, an Jamie gave an excuse to stop at the park. Once we arrive we started walking towards an area, Julie (Katie's sister) and her friends had decorated. Julie had taken pictures and created animations of them. Connor wrote down promises to Katie for their life together. Of course Katie said "YES!"
