What is the dress code?

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather can vary this time of year. The temperature can range anywhere from 50-80 degree F. The sun sets at 5:00pm. We suggest bringing a jacket or coverup to keep you warm in case of cold weather.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be taking place at the same venue, Lighthouse Cove Event Center (attached to the Hyatt Place). The ceremony will take place outside on the deck. In the event of rain, heavy wind, or cold temperatures, the ceremony will take place inside the ballroom. Cocktail hour will take place in the pre-function (bar) area and outside (if weather permits). The reception will take place in the ballroom.

Where can guests park?

Answer

Free parking is available in the large parking lot on Dickinson Street, between the Hyatt Place and The Rusty Rudder restaurant.

When are RSVPs due? Where do I RSVP?

Answer

The last day to RSVP is Sunday October 3rd, 2021. You can RSVP through our wedding website (this will be accessible when wedding invitations are sent out).

Will there be any vegetarian/vegan/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We will provide vegetarian hors d'oeuvres and a vegetarian meal option. If you have any special diet requests (allergies, sensitivities, etc.) please let us know.

Check-in for the Hyatt Place Hotel is 4pm. Currently, the wedding ceremony is scheduled to start at 3:30pm to allow for an ample amount of daylight. We know this could cause conflict for those who plan on only staying Saturday night and are unable to check-in early. Obviously this won't be an issue for those of you that are staying both Friday & Saturday night. We greatly apologize if this inconveniences anyone. We wish we could provide you with more assurance, but this is what we are being told from the hotel. If choosing to stay at Hyatt Place, your best bet is to call the night before or the early morning of to find out if you can have early check-in. We have provided more lodging options so you can find what fits best for you. Please do not hesitate to call/text/email if you have any additional questions or concerns...
