Charleston International Airport is going to be the closest airport. The next closest would be Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which is about 3 hours and 45 minutes away.
Due to the nature of the "destination wedding," it is important we can start to know who is coming early! Please fill out the Tentative RSVP as soon as possible. Your formal invitation will include a physical RSVP for your final answer. So, if you RSVP yes on your tentative but are then unable to come (or vice versa), you will have another chance to let us know.
The hotels on and around Kiawah are going to be a bit more expensive than if you rent a house with friends/family and split the cost. Under "Travel and Lodging" you will find multiple options for both, ranging heavily in price. ESPM is our preferred company to use for home rentals, so if you are leaning toward that, follow the instructions listed under ESPM on the "Travel and Lodging" page.
Great question! This can be confusing. John's Island and Kiawah Island are right next to each other. Our ceremony and reception are on John's Island, where our welcome parties are on Kiawah Island! At times, Maps will list certain addresses as John's Island when they are technically on Kiawah Island. So if you see that happen, don't stress! Whether you type in John's Island or Kiawah Island (as long as you type in the right street address!) you will get to your destination!

Our short ceremony will be outside, but our reception will be inside.
We are excited to have our friends and family join us to celebrate! With that being said, we don't have unlimited space. The names addressed on your Save the Date and Formal Invitation are the individuals invited to celebrate with us.
