Love will always find you when you're least expecting it, and that was just the case for Luke and Maddie. The two met on Halloween night while out with their friends in true college fashion - a frat party. Neither were looking for a significant other that night, but ended up finding just what they each needed. After the party, Luke gave Maddie his jacket as he walked her and her friends home safely, which ended up being all Maddie needed to know that she had found a man unlike the rest. Over the next two years, the two became inseparable as they got to spend the best years growing with one another. Some of their favorite days were spent watching the Toledo Walleye hockey games, going to the gym together, and walking at the local parks. They always supported one another, whether it was while Luke took on new internships, while Maddie began working in clinics, or when Maddie really wanted a cat. Their cat , Kiwi, is now affectionately known as their large, moody "child". Eventually, it came time for Maddie to move to North Carolina for PA school while Luke remained in Toledo to finish his degree. With long distance staring them in the face, they never missed a beat and Maddie began to anxiously await the ring she knew was coming. After Hurricane Helene shut down Maddie's school for a week, Luke knew it would be the perfect opportunity to truly surprise her. He pulled all the details together overnight, literally, and popped the question a few days later! It was truly the best surprise! Even though they spent the next two months finishing long distance, they only grew closer. The two have now moved into their first apartment and their journey together has only just begun!

The couple will be wed July 15th in a private ceremony with their immediate families at Gervasi Vineyards, but cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with you!
