The Citrus Club at The Dewberry Hotel

We LOVE this spot, hands down the best rooftop in Charleston. Great place to grab a drink and appetizer while you take in the views of Charleston. The Dewberry Hotel is also a favorite of ours so if nothing else, go in and check out this beautiful hotel! They don’t take reservations so we highly recommend going when you have time to spare or during the day when it tends to be less crowded

Sorelle

Fantastic Italian food and great vibes! Definitely leans on the fancier side & highly recommend getting a reservation ahead of time

Husk

Another food favorite (can you tell food is the key to our heart!?) Highly recommend a meal at Husk if you want elevated southern food dishes. If you go, order the cornbread. Reservations are needed for this spot and they book out quickly so we recommend grabbing one as soon as possible!

Poogan's Porch

If you’re looking for a great brunch spot, Poogan’s Porch has the best fried chicken sandwich (also helpful for that hangover you might be nursing). Poogan’s Porch is a Charleston staple, often visited by some famous guests. Highly recommend getting a reservation if you plan to check it out.

Basic Kitchen

Nothing basic about the food here! Great lunch spot for a crowd with various preferences. They offer fresh salads, delicious burgers, and out of this world sweet potatoes. Highly recommend the sweet potatoes as an appetizer so everyone can enjoy! We would suggest grabbing a reservation ahead of time if you plan to visit this spot.

Shopping on King Street

If you’re looking for some shopping options, we highly recommend walking up and down King Street to check out the boutiques.

Iron Rose

Iron Rose is located in The Mills House Hotel and offers a great spot for a meal in their quaint courtyard. You’ll get the true southern feeling when visiting this spot!
