Garden Formal. Since the ceremony will be held on the lawns before we move inside for dinner, we suggest block heels, wedges, or flats as the most comfortable choice for the grass.

The Phuket Climate

December in Phuket is lovely, with blue skies and a soft coastal breeze. While it stays warm at around 24-31°C, our dinner and dancing will be kept cool and air-conditioned. Light, natural fabrics will likely be your most comfortable option for the outdoor portions of the day.

Arriving at the Resort

The JW Marriott Phuket is a 20-minute drive from the airport. Taxis are available at the arrivals hall, or if you prefer to have everything settled in advance, the resort concierge can arrange a private transfer for you.

Visas & Entry

Answer

Most guests will receive a visa exemption on arrival. Just ensure your passport has at least six months of validity left. It is always a good idea to double-check your specific requirements a few weeks before you depart.

Local Essentials

The resort is happy to take major credit cards, though having some Thai Baht (THB) is useful for taxis and local stalls. Tap water isn't recommended for drinking, but the resort will keep your room filled with complimentary bottled water throughout your stay.
