While attending Wayne State University, Camille and Charlie both joined an Engineering Organization called NSBE (The National Society of Black Engineers). Their first interaction was rocky (Camille was supposed to watch Charlie's bookbag, but she didn't - bad first impression lol). However, over the next few months, their friendship blossomed. Soon after, the "EPIC DAY" happened. Charlie needed help with his math homework and Camille was good at math. So, they planned a day where they would meet at the NSBE office, leave to go grab some sushi, and then returned so Camille could tutor Charlie. After studying, it became apparent that while studying together they enjoyed each other's company. The day suppose to have ended there but because they were having such a good time together, they decided to go to Twelve Oaks Mall (Camille's first time at this mall). After spending time at the mall, Charlie was going to drop Camille off back at Wayne State. They received an invite to attend a house party and had a great time together. After Charlie eventually drop Camille off, they both knew that their friendship would soon blossom into something greater.

On Camille's birthday, Charlie planned a romantic evening at a new restaurant downtown called "The Statler French American Bistro". When Camille's second, surprise dessert arrived, the plate had a phrase on it. It took a minute for Camille to comprehend but it said, "Will you marry me". Camille screamed and saw Charlie on one knee. He asked her hand in marriage and she gladly said "Of Course, I Will". Now Camille and Charlie want to celebrate their union with you.
