Surprise, We're Eloping!

They say to steer clear of dating your coworkers, but guess who didn't heed that warning... Our story began almost four, (or what will be four years) ago in my hometown of Carlisle Pennsylvania. I had taken a temporary job after momentarily stepping away from my career in healthcare, not expecting much to come from it..let alone a whole relationship. Little did I know, a few weeks later I would be falling in love with way more than the West Virginia scenery. By the age of 20, I found myself moving for the first time away from the familiar, and into the unknown of navigating adult life from scratch. Through these past few years we've learned, we've laughed, cried, and everything in between. There has truly never been a dull moment between us, and I cannot wait to see what our future together holds!

The thought of eloping has been in the back of my mind for as long as I can remember. Who wouldn't love to say "I Do" in your go-to vacation spot, or your dream destination? A vivid sunset, the waves crashing in the background..it all just sounds too good to be true! As much as we love our home life in West Virginia, there is truly just something magical about the beach that lures us back year after year. The beach does hold a special place in our hearts, as our first trip as a couple was down to Florida. Although there were many bumps in the road, it was nothing short of a success. From that first day onward, I fell in love with the ocean and all that surrounded it. The environment, the energy of the town, the sights, what isn't there to love? After some careful conversation amongst each other, we made the consecutive decision to forgo our original, rather traditional plan and escape to our favorite spot together as a couple to tie the knot!
