Most guests will arrive through one of two major airports: 1. Florence Airport (FLR) - Closest option to Borgo Laticastelli - Approximately 25 minute drive to Central Florence - Approximately 1 hour 15 minute drive to Borgo Laticastelli - Small airport, easy to navigate, typically only one connection from the U.S. 2. Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) - Major International Hub - Approximately 2 hour 15 minute drive to Borgo Laticastelli - Several direct flight options from the U.S. - Great option for travelers who want to spend time in Rome or exploring Italy before or after the wedding It's recommended to book your flights around 6 months in advance to secure the best pricing and ensure your preferred flight availability.

Rental Car

Getting to Borgo Laticastelli

Renting a car is highly recommended for your trip to Tuscany, as it gives you flexibility to arrive at your own pace and also explore freely. - Reserve your car rental before arrival. Automatic cars should be booked early as there may be limited supply and no guarantee they will be available without pre-booking. - Most agencies require a valid passport + driver's license. - All rentals ask for an International Driving Permit which can be easily acquired through AAA. - Pick up directly at FLR or FCO for the easiest and most affordable experience. - There is ample amount of parking available onsite at our venue.

Taxis & Private Transfers

Because Tuscany is rural, on-demand taxis are limited and it is often recommended to book at least 24-hours in advance. Uber and Lyft are not reliable methods of transportation. If your preferred method of transport to and from the airport is a private transfer or car service, our venue can make recommendations as we get closer to the date. Stay tuned!
