What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you feel good! Dress up with us or not. We do recommend bringing comfortable shoes to wear to the wedding ceremony, as it will be outdoors and on grass.

Question

I'm flying in to Knoxville airport. Do I need to get a rental car?

Answer

Totally up to you! We will be offering transportation on Friday evening from The Blackhorse Pub (super close to the airport) to the Norton Creek Resort's Treehouse Grove. If you want to do your own thing on Saturday morning, you may want the option to freely drive wherever. Otherwise, you can always carpool with us or other friends on Saturday. Feel free to text us to see what our plans are if you want to coordinate.

I would rather have my own space. Do I need to stay at the Treehouse Grove?

Answer

We've covered the expense of staying at Treehouse Grove, but there will be most likely 4 people sharing each 2bd/1ba cabin (ps~ we will try to place everyone with people you already know). If sharing a cabin isn't your thing, feel free to find your own accommodations in the area at your own expense. Just let us know so we can adjust cabin assignments on our end!

What's there to do on Saturday before the wedding?

Answer

Our plan so far is to go hiking and/or hit the town before our ceremony starts. If you're just wanting to rest, Norton Creek resort is beautiful and you could easily spend a relaxing day here.

Is there going to be dancing?

Answer

Nope, no dance floor or DJs.

Is there going to be alcohol?

Answer

Yep! We'll have an open bar at the reception dinner. We'll also have plenty of non-alcoholic options and mocktails, too!
