Things To Do

Canteen Creemee Company

5123 Main Street, Waitsfield, VT 05673

A must visit! If you don't stop here and grab a creemee, you're missing out. And for those who don't know what a creemee is, think the best ice cream swirl you've ever had. Mia's fave flavor is chocolate and James' maple. They also serve great fried chicken and other bites!

The Mad Taco

5101 Main Street, Waitsfield, VT 05673

The best burritos in the valley and beyond! We recommend the Slow Burn carnitas on, well anything. Plus, the salsas are reinvented on a daily basis, marked by spice level 1-10. We dare you to try them all!

Castlerock Pub

64 Gate House Lane, Warren, VT 05674

Located right at the base of Sugarbush Resort and James' favorite spot to grab a beer after a ski day. With local brews and more on tap, plus live music on a regular basis.

Lawson’s Finest Liquids

155 Carroll Road, Waitsfield, VT 05673

Home to the Sip of Sunshine IPA! Check out the brewery and grab a sip from the source. Not into beer? They have other alcoholic beverages and delicious local root beer on tap.

5th Quarter Butcher + Provisions & The Local: Wine + Beer Outpost

89 Mad River Green, Waitsfield, VT 05673

Fun fact: Mia worked here in college as Assistant to the Cheesemonger. Formerly Mad River Taste Place, this specialty store has the best of everything the Mad River Valley has to offer. And yes, there will be cheese at the wedding. (Did you even have to ask?)

Sugarbush Resort Golf Club

1091 Golf Course Road, Warren, VT 05674

Beautiful and scenic golf course right down the street from your hotel.

Warren Falls

3919 Vermont Route 100, Warren, VT 05674

Warren Falls is absolutely out of this world. Park in the lot, walk down the marked trail, and take in the gorgeous views and powerful sounds of the falls. And for the brave souls, we recommend jumping in for a cold plunge.

Sunset Ledge Trail Head

3573 Lincoln Gap Road, Lincoln, VT 05443

Mia and James' favorite hike in the Mad River Valley. Moderate hike that covers 1.5 miles and opens to ledge with great mountain views!
