We first met Fourth of July Weekend in Northern Minnesota. We were both hours away from our homes at the time, and it just so happened that we were on Star Island in the middle of Cass Lake on the same day. As many of you may know, Star Island is a busy place over the fourth, and if Dave hadn't needed a Beersbee partner, neither of us would be where we are today!

During a two week hiking trip in the Canadian Rockies, one of our adventures for the day was to hike around Lake Louise in Alberta Canada. With as many people that were doing the same hike, we managed to find a quiet spot at the end of the hike where we were able to relax for a while and enjoy the views of the lake and the mountains. As I proceeded to take a nap and snack on beef jerky and goldfish, David impatiently waited as I refused to check out the cool spot that he wanted me to see. After seeing the unimpressed look on David's face, I followed him to the waterfall and tried to find another spot to lie down and relax. Once I turned around, I found him on his knee and finally realized why he wanted me to check out the waterfall so badly!
