October is one of the most beautiful times to visit the mountains, which also means hotel prices can be a bit higher. We've reserved a total of 20 rooms at the two hotels listed below for our guests, but we highly recommend exploring Airbnb options in the area for a more scenic and personalized experience.
If you're flying in, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Asheville Regional Airport are your best options. Both are approximately two hours from Boone, so a rental car or shuttle service will be necessary for transportation.
