Getting married out of state : Gifts

Answer

We are incredibly grateful to have you join us as we celebrate our love in California. Your presence alone means the world to us. As we've chosen to have a destination wedding, we've found ourselves facing the challenge of transporting gifts back home. With this in mind, if you were considering a gift, we kindly ask for your understanding in gifting us money instead. Your contribution will help us immensely as we navigate this aspect of our celebration.

To ensure everyone's comfort and enjoyment, could you kindly let us know if your child will require a seat during the ceremony and reception? Please indicate the number of children and adults attending for appropriate seating arrangements. If your party size is incorrect reach out directly to the bride.

In order to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the wedding, we kindly encourage you to arrange for childcare. There will be no direct entertain for the kids e.i jumper. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

How do I know If I can bring my child?

Let’s be honest: will they have difficulty sitting still for an extended period? Is your child likely to be running around? Be honest with yourself and considerate of the couple when making this decision, as it can impact both the event and your experience. Refer back to the facebook video of kids at weddings!!

The wedding will take place at an outdoor venue in Somis. Please note that there will be no tents; tables will be set up on the grass, and there will be a cement dance floor available.
