Mike and I met on a Saturday night in January 2016 at Green Rock Tap & Grill in Hoboken, NJ. (commence the napkin throwing, haha) We immediately knew something was there and talked in my car until 6 am that night (or should I say morning) I drove home knowing that he was the one.

Nantucket is our favorite place. We’re in love with the island’s charm, the cobblestone streets, vintage cars, and the incredible seafood. Mike and I decided to take a trip out for the Figawi race this year, as well as take our pup, Finn, to celebrate his 2nd birthday. On Saturday night, we boarded the Endeavor for a sunset sail. It couldn’t have been a more perfect night. We were all laughing and getting to know one another on board when Mary jokingly asked if we were married. Mike took the opportunity and said “Funny you should ask…” throwing me off guard. But as I turned around to face him, all I saw was him holding a shiny thing and smiling. I don’t remember anything after, but luckily we had some amazing people there to capture the moment for us. We’re forever grateful, and so excited.
