The countdown until our forever is on!

The first time we met was at Shawn's high school graduation in 2012. I was there supporting my best friend, Natalie, and she introduced me to him. I knew of him (thought he was adorable) but had never actually met him until then. We ended up going to Natalie's house afterwards to celebrate her accomplishment and that's where it all started. We didn't start officially dating until January 1, 2015 and have been in love ever since.

It all started with a little white lie.. I picked up Natalie and we went to San Francisco to finally go ring shopping. Well.... if you know Stephanie you know that she enjoys looking through her "Find My Friends" app frequently. I was 5 minutes away from the ring shop when I received the text from Steph saying "Why are you and Nat in San Francisco?" I thought my cover was blown so I freaked out for a second and then responded back saying that we were getting lunch and going apartment hunting. AND SHE BOUGHT IT. (Also if you zoom in on the app you clearly saw that I was at a ring shop). Fast forward a few months to February 9th, 2020. I was supposed to be at the ProAm golf tournament with my buddy Scott. I tried my hardest to get away from Stephanie in the morning since I was so nervous and freaking out. Well, Stephanie persisted that we spend time together since we weren't going to see each other all day... So we went to Target to get deodorant and Starbucks. Scott picked me up and we drove to the nearest Starbucks (again) to wait until Stephanie left for her girls brunch. SHE WAS 45 MINUTES LATE. So Scott and I sat there doing absolutely nothing because we had to wait for her to leave so we could grab Piper and Ryan. We took off and went to House Family Vineyards (I turned off my location so she wouldn't catch me AGAIN). Both of our families and some our close friends were there and we all enjoyed some appetizers and wine while we waited for Stephanie to show up. Finally, I see her pulling up. She thought she was just wine tasting with the girls. I took my position on the trail and awaited my future wife to notice me standing there. She sees me and literally says "What are you doing here?". My response: "I have a question I need to ask you..." To that she responds with "Ohh nooooo" (probably because she would have wanted to wear something different) Well and now we are here, engaged and soon to be married. It was the best day ever.
