Something about him caught her eye, and she knew she had to have him. David flew to Connecticut for their first in-person date, and Adalie took him to a train museum. It was there that David realized Adalie was someone truly special. When Adalie unexpectedly lost her job, what could have been a setback became a blessing in disguise—it gave her the freedom to visit Wisconsin often, and their long-distance relationship began to flourish. Though the distance was challenging, their love grew stronger with each visit, sustained by their faith and commitment to one another.
