FAQs

Question

What accommodations are available?

Answer

Welcome to Camp Robbinswold! We’ve rented out the entire 570 acre camp for the weekend and can’t wait to share this cozy lakeside retreat with you. Think summer camp—but for grown-ups (and a wedding). Lodging You’ll be staying in rustic open-air or heated cabins with real bunk beds (mattresses included). Most cabins sleep 4–6 people. We’ll group guests based on comfort and vibes, but let us know your bunkmate preferences! Not into bunks? You’re welcome to bring a tent and set up on one of the available tent pads. Water Access The camp has a mile of private saltwater beach on Hood Canal and a freshwater lake—perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing by the water. (Party Island maybe?) Campfires and Stargazing We’ll have fire circles going in the evenings for s’mores, stories, and cozy nighttime hangs. Pack your flannel! Bathrooms and Showers Hot showers and clean restrooms are available near most cabins. If you're in a winterized cabin with a bathroom, please be prepared to share with others nearby. Thanks for your flexibility and camp spirit. Games and Crafts There’s a craft room overlooking the Hood Canal. We’ll bring puzzles, games, and cross-stitch supplies—feel free to bring your favorites too. Power and Wi-Fi Some cabins have outlets, some don’t—so a portable charger is a good idea. Wi-Fi is extremely limited, so plan to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Clean-Up Camp Robbinswold asks that guests pack out what they pack in and help return the space to its original condition. A little effort from everyone helps keep the camp beautiful. If you have any questions or want to see more photos of the camp, just let us know. We’re so excited to spend this magical weekend with you!

Question

Will meals be provided?

Answer

Scout and I will be providing pizza at the Friday welcome dinner, as well as dinner on the night of the ceremony, along with a few appetizers, desserts, and beverages. All other meals will be up to you, so please plan accordingly for the weekend.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that guests RSVP by January 11th, 2026 so we can plan accommodations, meals, and activities accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are dogs welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, Camp Robbinswold is a pet-free zone. Only registered service animals are permitted on the property.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM sharp—please arrive a little early to get settled!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We aren’t registered anywhere, but we do have a Hemlock Fund linked under the Registry tab for anyone who wishes to contribute. Even better, we’d love if you considered donating that money to a charity of your choice instead. Scout and I have shared links to three organizations that are very close to our hearts—also under the Registry tab.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach Casual — Please dress comfortably! The only rule is no high heels, as the ceremony location isn’t suitable for them. Feel free to wear sandals, flats, or whatever keeps you comfortable and ready to enjoy the day!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We want you to be as comfortable as possible throughout the weekend. If you plan on bringing a plus one, just be sure to include them in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! Just be sure to include them in your RSVP if you’d like them to receive a meal. Please note that as the evening goes on, the music will get louder and the vibe may be less kid-friendly. We trust you to make the best decision for your family’s comfort.

Question

Will there be activities or free time?

Answer

Of course, there will be plenty of free time throughout the weekend. For guests arriving on Friday, we’re planning a casual welcome dinner with pizza and a movie in the lodge.

Question

Is the camp wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Answer

There are two wheelchair-accessible cabins and the lodge is fully accessible. However, the amphitheater where the ceremony will take place is on a steep, rocky path that may be challenging for wheelchairs—strollers should be fine though. The wonderful staff at Camp Robbinswold are very adaptable and happy to assist with any mobility needs. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us or the camp directly if accessibility could be a concern for you—we want to make sure everyone can comfortably enjoy the day!

Question

Can you bring your own alcohol?

Answer

This is a rare and joyful occasion where BYOB is totally welcome. Scout and I will be providing wine, champagne, seltzers, and beer at the Lodge after the ceremony. If there’s a specific drink you love—or a particular level of festive you’d like to reach—we absolutely encourage you to bring your favorite beverages to make the night your own. Please remember to drink responsibly, plan ahead, and never drink and drive.
