We’re getting married!

We were both working at Richmond Ford. He was a technician and I was a service advisor. Our first date came about from a bet that we placed about how long it would take the worst technician in the shop to do a certain job. I don't even remember who won but we went on a lunch date and I brought a friend along because it was her birthday and I wasn't looking for anything serious ( who was I kidding!) Now here we are 4 years later about to get married!

We went on a beach trip in August to get away from the craziness of 2020. We had just gotten back from an evening walk on the beach and I was changing because our dog Jax LOVES to play in the water and decided to drag me in with him ( insert eye roll emoji ). When I came out of the room I couldn't find him so I went up to the crows nest on the top of the house where he was sitting nervously looking out at the ocean. I asked him what was wrong and he said nothing so I shook it off and we sat there looking at the view for a while. A few minutes later he gets up and says he wasn't sure what the right time was to do something and I looked at him questionably and asked "the right time to do what". As I said that he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was in complete shock but of course I said yes! It didn't hit me until about 20 minutes later when we told our parents the big news and I started shaking and crying tears of joy. We are getting married just 3 days shy of our engagement anniversary!
