Can I bring additional guets?

Answer

We hope that you understand that the wedding ceremony & cocktail hour is private and strictly for invitees only, additional guests will not be able to attend. HOWEVER, any and every other event during the weekend additional guests are free to attend! :) You are more than welcome to bring additional guests on vacation with you! This vacation is not only about us, but it is also about our guests. We want you to enjoy yourselves to the fullest! Additional guests are welcome to book with the travel agent.

What do I wear for the ceremony?

Answer

Formal beach attire is the dress code! Ladies, please leave your ballgowns HOME, Men do not wear suit jackets! We understand it’s a tropical climate and we want everyone to be comfortable! Please, no white clothing and ladies beware of high heels in the sand.

Do I need any vaccinations for Mexico?

Answer

There are no vaccinations needed for Mexico. But they do recommend that you have Tetanus, Hepatitis A and Typhoid but these are recommended for most countries. If you do not travel very often it may be worth checking with your GP or Pharmacist on how up to date you are with your vaccines just to be sure.

Can I stay at another resort?

Answer

NO. Unfortunately, this resort is strict on not allowing outside guests to attend weddings held on the resort. We also have a few events planned throughout the weekend which you would also not be able to attend if you are not on the resort.

Why can’t I book my own travel?

Answer

We have arranged for a Travel Agent (Jonathan) to make the booking process easier for everyone without you paying any additional costs. Booking with Jonathan ensures that you are not only receiving the best price but also booked with the right resort (there is another resort with a similar name). Booking this way automatically adds you into our wedding’s guestlist. Jonathan will also collate anyone traveling together on the same transfer.

Should I bring cash?

Answer

I always recommend having cash on hand anytime while traveling however, it is not needed. This is an all-inclusive resort, you have access to unlimited food, unlimited drinks (both alcohol & non-alcoholic beverages) transportation and unlimited excursions. You will need cash if you want to purchase souvenirs. If you do decide to bring cash it is recommended to exchange the currency at the airport for the cheapest exchange rate.

Is tipping Required?

Answer

We all like to tip for great service right? Good news is at this resort tipping is not required but if you do wish to tip pesos are recommended so the staff don't have to pay an exchange rate.

Can I drink the tap water?

Answer

NO, please only drink bottled water or water serve by waiter staff. Drinking tap water even on your toothbrush can make you very sick. But do not worry you’ll find plenty of bottles of water in your room and bathroom which the staff replenishs daily!

I can’t attend the wedding in Mexico..

Answer

That’s okay and we understand! This is not a traditional wedding in our own hometown, we know it costs and totally understand if you can't make it.
