Our story began back in 2015 when Paul was a freshman at LIU Post. His social circle occasionally overlapped with that of Audrey’s close friend (and now bridesmaid), Lauren. A casual follow on Instagram grew into a mutual one, and for years, our names just lived quietly on each other’s screens. That all changed in the summer of 2020. That July, Audrey was spending a weekend on the North Fork of Long Island with Lauren and their friend (and fellow bridesmaid) Nora, sharing photos of their adventures in the small town of Southold. By coincidence — or maybe fate — Paul had grown up in the next town over, Cutchogue. Seeing their posts from his old stomping grounds, he decided to take a chance. He reached out, offering to be Audrey’s “East End tour guide,” and asked her out for coffee. Our first date was on August 5, 2020, at The French Workshop in Garden City. It was a warm Wednesday afternoon, and while Audrey sensibly ordered an iced coffee, Paul confidently ordered a hot one — a detail we still laugh about. Despite the summer heat, the conversation flowed for hours. When the date ended, Paul walked Audrey to her car and kissed her on the cheek. Several dates followed, each one feeling more natural than the last. We started our relationship on Long Island, but soon after, Paul moved to Astoria — and it wasn’t long before Audrey followed. We’ve loved building a life that blends the energy of New York City with the comfort of our Long Island roots, sharing the best of both worlds. Then, during the summer of 2025, we spent ten amazing days vacationing in Paros, Greece. While most of our time was spent relaxing on the beach, on July 5th, we decided to explore the island's smaller villages. That afternoon, in the quiet, beautiful village of Prodromos, Paul surprised Audrey with a proposal, and she ecstatically said yes. Each step has felt more right than the last, and we are so ready for this one. We can’t wait to start our marriage surrounded by the people we love most.
