Due to the nature of Big Sur, we weren’t able to book any blocks at these cabins, lodges, or hotels, but they could be good options to begin your search for lodging. They add an extra fee to you and all others staying there if more than 3 rooms are attending the same event** Deetjen's Big Sur - deetjens.com Big Sur River Inn - bigsurriverinn.com Fernwood Campground - fernwoodbigsur.com These are all in Big Sur area, but consider Carmel for the nearest city (30 minutes to an hour North of the venue) if you are in search of a more affordable non-camping option. We will note here, though it is mentioned below, please DO NOT book at the Big Sur Lodge. We have a very small set number of rooms reserved and need them for close family and wedding party. Unless you were provided a code and a room assignment by Kailie or Josh, do not book there, as we have had issues with the staff misunderstanding and accidentally booking folks under our block, even without a code. Thanks for your understanding.

Camping at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park

If you wish to take in all Big Sur has to offer Camping might be your preferred accommodation! This campground is located at the same state park entry as the Big Sur Lodge (shuttle pickup for the wedding), so this is the most ideal car camping option. These sites open up EXACTLY 6 months in advance and book up quickly, so if this is your choice, be ready to hop on the website above first thing Tuesday, 3/14/2023 or Wednesday, 3/15/2023 to get your camping or RV spot saved!

Flight

San Francisco International Airport

While Monterey's airport may be the closest, it is also the most expensive option. We recommend flying into SFO and renting a car or coordinating a ride from there. As for your route, head down I-280 then take CA 17 to Santa Cruz where you will take CA 1 all the way to Big Sur. Oakland and San Jose airports may be more affordable options relative to Monterey as well.

Rental Cars

No Matter where you fly into, this will be a necessary add on. Big Sur is 1 hour from Monterey airport, and 3 hours from SFO. Reach out to us directly to be added to a carpool list if you'd prefer that option.

ATTENTION: Please do not book here unless you were provided a code and room assignment from Kailie and/or Josh. We were given a small room block and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate beyond close family and the wedding party. The shuttle to and from the wedding venue will pick up and drop off at this location, and guests will be able to park in their lot during the ceremony and reception.
