(That's what Hope told Daniel that she's telling the kids, anyway.) Our very first date was during a layover in Atlanta, when Hope was flying back to Austin from Miami. Daniel suggested a little coffee date, but Hope's 90 minute layover didn't leave much time for that... so naturally she moved her connecting flight back by two hours and said "let's do it!" Daniel picked her up, Starbucks in hand, and we shot off to the golf course to see how many holes we could play in an hour and a half. We learned three things that day: 1. 90 minutes was not nearly enough time - we talked and laughed the entire time and haven't stopped since 2. The emotion we both left feeling was just simply "comfortable" - so at ease with each other and just happy to be spending time together 3. Hope is a better golfer than Daniel Since then, we've navigated long distance, training schedules, life changes, and have done it with laughter, love, communication, honesty, and more FaceTime hours than anyone could ever count. Welcome into our story, we're so glad you're here <3
