We'd love to see all of our family and friends dress up for our big day! We are requesting formal attire. Formal attire for gentlemen may include a suit and tie or a tuxedo. For women, floor length dresses, midi length dresses, or dressy jumpsuits.
Because the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM, we recommend you aim to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to take your seat.
Our ceremony will take place outdoors under the avenue of oaks. The reception will be held in a heated tent, and food stations will be inside the house. Guests are welcome to flow between all spaces throughout the evening.
While we would love to have everyone attend, due to limited space we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones however due to many factors including space, we respectfully have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We encourage you to take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with your significant other or enjoy a night out to yourself. We appreciate you making prior arrangements.
Yes! For all of our visiting guests, we will have transportation arrive at The Francis Marion Hotel promptly at 4 PM to transport you to and from the wedding venue.
Yes! There is an ample amount of parking. While we do not encourage leaving cars in the park overnight, if you find yourself having had too much to drink and need to leave your car overnight, it must be parked in the main visitor center parking lot. It can then be picked up the next day during park hours.
