We were first introduced in 2008 through mutual friends while skiing at Sunday River. I was a freshman in high school, he was a senior (ooh la la). Shortly after meeting we found each other on Myspace and exchanged numbers. Although our love story didn't officially begin until 2010, we will always cherish the memories that were made and the foundation that was built in the earlier years of our relationship. In the summer of 2012 Keny closed on his first home in Casco and it wasn't long before I officially moved in. After over 5 years in our cute little ranch we decided it was time to move closer to friends, family & work. We sold the house in Casco in December of 2017 and bought a new house in Windham. We currently reside in Windham with our dog (Bago) and two cats (Lola and Cooper) Now, after over a decade together, we can’t wait to tie the knot and start our happily ever after!
On April 10th, 2019 I emailed a wedding venue that I had been admiring on Instagram to arrange a tour for Keny and I. I had been hearing rumors about venues beginning to book for fall of 2020 and I was becoming anxious! The tour was scheduled for Saturday, April 13th (no pressure Keny). We had been together for over 8 years at this point so I knew it was only a matter of time before he popped the question, I was ready to start planning! As the week progressed I grew more and more suspicious that Keny was up to something and by Friday, I had it all figured out. When I woke up on Saturday morning I texted Morgan about my suspicions and being the great friend that she is, she played dumb. Little did I know, Keny had stopped by on Thursday to show off the ring! After touring the venue on Saturday morning Keny asked if I wanted to take the dogs (Duke & Bago) to our favorite park in Cumberland, Twin Brooks. At this point, I knew without a doubt. We walked around the park for what felt like hours before Keny finally pulled the D. Cole ring box out of his sock (ouch!). Although I had been anticipating the proposal all along, I stood in shock as I listened to his heartfelt proposal and when he opened the box I immediately blurted YES! before he had a chance to ask, "will you marry me?".
