What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask you adhere to a colorful black Tie/ formal dress code. Women- a floor length gown (any color!) Gentlemen - think a black suit or tuxedo

Is Parking Available At Castle & Key?

Answer

Parking will be available at the venue, but we HIGHLY recommend leaving your car at the hotel or where you’re staying, specially if you are drinking- so PLEASE use the transportation provided at the hotel block (Marriott on W Vine street) we have accommodations with. There will be 3 large shuttles and we will be leaving promptly.

What time will the busses be leaving for the wedding?

Answer

The busses will be outside the hotel block ( right next to Jeff Rubys) and they will arrive at 4:05 and leave latest by 4:15. If you miss the bus please uber to Castle & Key but again do not rely on uber or Lyft to get back to Lexington there will be no WiFi for you to get transportation.

Can I uber back to Lexington from Castle & Key?

Answer

NO. Castle & Key is infamous for their poor internet reception/ WiFi and with 200 people please do not rely any kind of uber or Lyft to leave. Please use the shuttles Marissa & Matt have provided. However, you can take an uber/ Lyft to the ceremony if you chose not to take the shuttles we provided- ceremony begins at 5:30pm. If you’re driving yourself, be cautious of not having WiFi when you get down to the castle there is little to no reception.

Are Kids Invited?

While we love them, this is an adults only day unless you’ve already spoken to Marissa & Matt about it!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this date with our nearest and dearest. With that being said, we can only accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting). Our cocktail hour will also be held outside with a covered patio and the reception will be indoors!

I Have A Food Allergy Can I Make A Special Request?

Of course! Please let Marissa know what accommodation you need.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We recommend you arrive no later than 5:20 to ensure you are seated comfortably! Again we will have shuttles set up from the Marriott hotel there and back since the drive is about ~35 minutes to Castle & Key.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but feel free to bring cash for tips!

Do we have to book with the hotel block?

Answer

We understand the rate we have at the Marriott is high, and while there are not too many rooms left feel free to book with whatever hotel or air b n b service you prefer :) if you have questions reach out to Matt or Marissa.
