We’ve selected a few hotel options on our travel page to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The Otesaga is our top recommendation, but The Lake Front Hotel and The Inn at Cooperstown are also great alternatives for different preferences and budgets. Staying at any of these three hotels puts you within walking distance of the venue and also the bars, restaurants, and attractions in downtown Cooperstown. Booking links and special rates are available on the travel page. Please be sure to reserve your room by August 1, 2026 to take advantage of the room block. Please note that we are not providing transportation. Cooperstown is a quiet, historic village that’s fairly remote, so rideshare services like Uber and Lyft will not be available. If you plan to stay elsewhere or book a house rental through Airbnb or VRBO, please plan ahead. We want all of our guests to be able to celebrate with us and get home safely at the end of the night.
Our welcome party calls for cocktail attire, and the ceremony and reception will follow a black tie optional dress code. For the welcome party, women may wear a cocktail dress or elevated separates, and men are encouraged to wear a collared shirt with a blazer or suit jacket. For the ceremony and reception, women may wear a formal midi or floor-length dress, and men should wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie or bow tie. The welcome party and reception will be held indoors, but the ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to take place outdoors. Please keep fall weather in mind and bring a coat in case it gets chilly. As the ceremony will be on the lawn, we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. If you’ll be walking from your hotel in causal shoes, there will be a place to leave them once you change into your event shoes upon arrival.
We kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. No children, please.
Instead of traditional gifts, we’ve created a home and honeymoon fund. We’re fortunate to already have the belongings and household items we need, so contributions toward our future together would mean so much to us! 🤍 You can find it on the registry page.
